Charlotte, or Charlie, had a traumatic event happen to her when she was a teen. During a home invasion her mother and sister were murdered while she watched while hiding in a closet. This one event changed her life. It's how she be aus martial arts instructor and how she arrived at the gym.

This was heat and fire from the start and whole lot of irritation from Charlie but Brock wore her down. They saw things in each other that no one else saw. Of course there's always a little drama that happens and feelings are hurt. This books worth the read. Enjoy, I did.
